Head Pupils
Nurturing effective pupil leaders is an important element to New Line learning Academy’s commitment to the personal development of our pupils. Pupils are encouraged to develop the necessary skills to enable them to take responsibility for their school and to then contribute positively both to the school and wider community. To this end and to build upon the success of our current House Captains NLL have appointed two Head Pupils and three Deputy Head Pupils from our Year 10 cohort.
Their main responsibilities are:
- To organise and plan regular meetings with the Pupil Council and ensure that decisions are carried out.

- To be internal and external ambassadors for the school and to act as role models for all pupils at New Line Learning Academy.
- To give key presentations about the school, for example to prospective parents and pupils at school events.
- To greet important visitors to New Line Learning Academy.
- To be involved in assemblies.
- To meet regularly with the Head of Year 11.
